Hello
I am Charlotte Fitzgerald, and I am currently teaching English III and IV as well as Speech/Debate. I am a 13 veteran teacher, with the last 8 years being at Talihina. Before that, I taught 9-12 English and 7/8 Reading at Red Oak Oklahoma. I have had many wonderful students who have added joy to my life over the years, and I hope that I have brought a smile or two to theirs as well. My goal as a teacher is to prepare each student for their next step in life. I value each of my students as individuals, and I appreciate the opportunity to be involved in their lives.
I am a 1984 Talihina Tiger Graduate who is proud to be carrying on the tradition of Tiger Pride. I hadsome wonderful teachers who supported, inspired, and encouraged me along my educational journey. My respect for them had a lot to do with me choosing my profession. I hope I am remembered in the same way, and that future graduates will remember me as a teacher who supported, inspired, and encouraged them.
I received my Associatesof Arts degree at EOSC in Wilburton, and then completed my education at SOSU in Durant. My greatest professional achievement was becoming a NATIONALLY BOARD CERTIFIED TEACHER (NBCT). I hope to start on my Master's Degree in the near future.
