I am Becky Lockhart, Special Education Director for Talihina Public School. I graduated high school from Leflore Public School, received a Bachelors Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University (SOSU) in Occupational Safety Engineering, received a Masters Degree in Special Education from SOSU followed by a second Masters Degree in School Psychology/Psychometry from East Central University.
Teaching experience includes 3 years of instruction for special needs students, 8 years as a District Special Education Director, 3 years as a certified Psychometrist, and 4 year as a certified School Psychologist.
I have 3 boys: Alan (17), Taggart (20), Jason (my hunk-a-hunk-a burning love husband whom I've been married to for 23+ years).
Before Talihina, I have worked at Colbert, Arkoma, and Cameron Public Schools, along with Lavaca, AR School, and taught a Masters level class (Non-Traditional Assessment) for East Central University at McAlester campus in the Spring semester of 2008.
